Why Dorado.

Dorado Expeditions is the operational layer that lets US dive shops run more international trips. We plan, book, and host trips co-branded with shop partners, structured so the shop keeps the customer relationship and the post-trip revenue.

Etienne N. Gerdes, founder

My background spans hospitality across luxury, lifestyle, and value-tier properties. Operational discipline at one end, service standards at the other. Both feed into how Dorado runs trips and partnerships.

Beyond hospitality, I've worked in international development supporting economic opportunity in emerging markets, and I'm currently in federal public service.

Dorado is where I bring that operational discipline and service standards to dive shops.
