Your choice per trip

Three ways we can run a trip together

All modes are co-branded with your shop. Dive operations are always run by the resort or liveaboard's own divemasters and instructors. Dorado is the host and logistics layer, not the dive operator.

You host

You travel with the group as the trip host. We've done the planning, supplier work, and customer logistics ahead of the trip. We're on call throughout but not on site. Lowest cost to the shop, and you stay the face of the trip with your customers.

Co-hosted

We're both on the trip. You stay the face of the trip; we handle the operations and anything that comes up on site: transfers, restaurant bookings, manifest tracking. Useful when the shop wants the customer relationship but not the operational load on site.

Dorado hosts

Dorado travels with the group as the on-site host, co-branded with your shop. Useful when you can't travel but the shop wants the trip to run.

How the math works

Commission flows from the wholesaler, not from your shop.

Customers pay the wholesaler. The wholesaler pays a commission on the booking.

Of the commission, your shop's share is 35% on trips you host, 30% when Dorado is on site. On top of that, trips you host include a comped trip-host spot, negotiated with the supplier per group thresholds.

And the rest, the gear, training, and service revenue your customers spend at your shop after they get back, is yours, untouched.
